Increase Metabolism - Lose Weight Fast

Interval training - great way to boost metabolism Interval training is training using short bursts of high intensity exercise that are separated by recovery periods of low intensity exercise.You will push yourself beyond your comfort level for short bursts of time. Walk 3 mins then run for 1 min and keep doing that until your 45 mins or up. Gradually you'll be able to perform at the higher level for longer periods of time and burn more calories .

Eat breakfast everyday : Do not skip breakfast. Breakfast is break the fast that we have done overnight. Skipping breakfast makes your metabolism slower and makes you hungry which you tend to compensate by eating a lot later.

Eat smaller, more frequent meals (eat 4-6 six small meals) - More frequent meals keep your metabolism charged .

Exerecise to fire up your metabolism and burn more calories - Try 30-60 minutes of physical activity a day. It increases your metabolism .

Take the stairs and park your car further away from the shops - You will end up burning more calories.

Water - Water helps to lose weight. Water suppresses the appetite naturally and helps the body metabolize stored fat.
The liver's job is to convert the stored fat into energy, this is directly influenced by the amount of water you drink. The liver also acts as a backup for the kidney, which needs plenty of water to work properly. The kidneys cannot function properly without enough water.When kidneys do not work to full capacity, some of their load is shifted on the liver. But if the liver has to do some of the kidney's work, it cannot do its job. It then can't burn fat quickly or efficiently so weight loss slows down.

Eating foods that speed up metabolism (Foods that boost metabolism)

  1. Spices - Spices boosts metabolism, suppresses appetite, reduce fat absorption and adds taste to your meal. Replace butter or mayonnaise with garlic, chili, mustard, ginger. Saute vegetables and chicken in hot sauce as opposed to oil.

  2. High protein foods - Protein increases metabolism. It helps in building muscle tissue. More muscles burn more fat and increases your metabolism. Calories from the protein rich foods are much harder for the body to breakdown and process.In other words, the body has to work harder in order to extract calories from these foods which aids in weight loss.Protein is a good appetite suppressant. Protein makes us feel full. You won't feel hungry for longer periods of time after eating protein rich food.

  3. High fiber foods - Fiber is very important for weight loss goals. It is digested slower, keeps us feeling fuller longer and releases its energy slower which keep our blood sugar levels even and helps us avoid cravings. Fiber is found mainly in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds. Replace white rice, bread, and pasta with brown rice ,brown bread and whole-grain products.These products are less refined and have much more fiber in them .

  4. Negative calorie foods - You can also speed your metabolism by choosing foods that burn more calories then they contain. Negative calorie foods are foods, which use more calories to digest than the calories the foods actually contain. Calories from these foods are much harder for the body to breakdown and process. Celery, Potatoes, Cauliflower, Tomato, Cucumber, Broccoli and Cabbage are good examples.
